EVERY BOXING CLUB IN CANADA IS WELCOME TO REGISTER
Southpaw Boxing Gym along with support from many Alberta Boxing Clubs welcomes you to this nationwide tournament. We started the YYC Cup last year because of a lack of a National Tournament, however, the response to continue has been overwhelming and thus we will host this tournament each year in May for as many years going forward as we have registrants.
Open and Novice Boxers Welcome
Open Boxers are welcome to register and we will match you based on the other registrants. Novice Boxers are also welcome to register, however, please understand coaches may wish to open athletes so they can compete against other currently open fighters..
Tournament days
Full Days of Boxing
Each day we hope to have an afternoon show and an evening show,. These shows are typically scheduled for a 12 noon start and a 6 or 7 PM start
Final Day
Sunday we hope to have a show at 12 noon for any of the competitors that made it to the finals we also hope to do awards and trophies in the afternoon as well for each division.

Boxers
19-40
are considered "elite" boxers.
Jr B
Male and female boxers between the age of
13 – 14
are categorized as Junior B boxers.
Youth
Male and female boxers between the age of
17 – 18
are categorized as Youth boxers
Masters
Male and female boxers
over 40 years old
are categorized as Master boxers.
